Sizing your base bet to your balance

Why your base bet should be a fraction of your balance, and how to calculate it.

With an increase on loss, every extra loss multiplies the next bet. The base bet decides how many losses your balance absorbs before the next bet is bigger than what you have left.

A quick example

Balance $100, base bet $0.10, increase 100%: you survive 9 losses. The 10th bet would be $51.20. Halve the base bet and you survive one more loss.

Rule of thumb

Pick the streak you want to survive first, then work back to the base bet. Our free loss streak calculator does this math for you.
